Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ASA Holdings LLC (“ASA Holdings,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Rochi (the “App”), our anime tracking application. By using Rochi, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Rochi requires you to sign in to track shows, rate, review, and use community features (browsing the catalogue is available without an account). When you sign in and use the App, we collect:

• Account information: your email address (from email sign-in, or shared by Apple or Google during sign-in) and the account identifier used to sync your data.
• Profile information: your chosen display name, bio, avatar, and favorites.
• Activity and content you create: your watch history and progress, ratings, reviews, comments, rankings, follows, and favorites.
• Diagnostics: anonymized product-analytics events and crash reports (see Section 4).

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

Synced account data is stored with Supabase, our hosting and database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security so that you control your own content, and administrative access is limited to authorized personnel for support and moderation.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide core features — syncing your library across devices, displaying reviews and rankings, and powering the taste-match graph.
• To operate community features such as reviews, comments, follows, and reporting/blocking.
• To maintain safety and enforce our community guidelines.
• To diagnose crashes and improve the App.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting

Analytics (PostHog). We use PostHog to understand how features are used so we can improve the App. Analytics events are anonymized and used for product improvement — not to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Crash reporting (Sentry). We use Sentry to capture crash and error diagnostics so we can fix problems. These reports are used solely to keep the App stable.

Diagnostic data is only collected when the corresponding service is configured for a build.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We share data only with the service providers above (Supabase, PostHog, Sentry) strictly to operate the App, and only as needed to provide their service.

6. Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. This removes your account, library, ratings, reviews, rankings, comments, favorites, and followers and cannot be undone. If you need help, contact us at aaron@asaholdings.io.

7. Children’s Privacy

Rochi is rated 12+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us at aaron@asaholdings.io and we will delete it.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our active systems. Anonymized, aggregated diagnostics may be retained to maintain App stability.

9. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your information through the App, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws — for example, the GDPR (EEA/UK) rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and data portability, or the CCPA/CPRA (California) rights to know, delete, and correct. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. We honor valid requests as required by law; to exercise a right, email aaron@asaholdings.io.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
